Mrs. Amy Davis Sasnett, age 58, a resident of 9206 Slatestone Street, Washington, handed away peacefully July 1st, 2021 at her property surrounded by her spouse and children.
The family will get buddies from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 4th, 2021 at Paul Funeral Household & Crematory of Washington and other occasions at the residence. A graveside funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 5th, 2021 at the Sasnett Household Cemetery found on Cox Street in Washington. The provider will be officiated by Rev. Jimmy Johnson. Pallbearers will be Martin Purvis, Fred Tetterton, Trey Liverman, Cameron Swindell, Todd Dunbar, and Matt Mason.
Amy was born in Beaufort County on July 10, 1962. On Oct 26, 1996 she married the like of her life, Paul Ray Sasnett. Surviving alongside with her husband are: 3 daughters: Candice Sasnett Pearson of Greenville, Amanda Danielle Sasnett of Washington, and Kassie Sasnett Mason and husband Adam of Washington two grandsons: Brody Reid McKinney and Ethan Oliver Pearson sisters: Audree Parker and partner Alton of Bath, Leslie Foster and husband Earl of Belhaven brothers: Wayne Colbert and spouse Laura of Pantego, Bobby Mac Davis of Belhaven, Lowell Rhodes and spouse Lea of Myrtle Seaside, SC, and Greg Rhodes of Allison Park, PA mom-in-law, Janet Dean Sasnett of Washington sisters-in-law, Bonita Arvizu and spouse Henry of Washington and Leigh Tetterton and spouse Bobby of Washington nieces and nephews, Tyler, Josh, Liz, Matt, Robyn, Adam, Ashlyn, Trevor, Destinee, Sydney, Chelsea, and John and a number of special buddies that she liked dearly.
She was preceded in demise by her beloved son Ethan “Reid” Sasnett, her Reidman.
In addition to her son, Amy was predeceased by her mother, Janice Jordan Rhodes and husband Lowell Minton Rhodes her father, Bobby Davis father-in-law, Bonnie Ray Sasnett and nephew, William Ryal Harriett.
Nevertheless born in Beaufort County, Amy was lifted in Lake Metropolis, SC and attended Florence-Darlington Specialized College or university in which she graduated as a Registered Nurse. Amy held a lot of roles through her nursing occupation, together with positions in bedside nursing, pediatrics, instruction, good quality administration and affected individual safety. Following 35 years of nursing, she retired and commenced her new vocation as a farmer along with her partner, Paul. She would usually say that the finest section of her job was that she was in a position to invest so much time with her spouse and co-worker, Paul.
Amy was a trustworthy member of the Swan Quarter Baptist Church, a congregation that she lovingly referred to as her “church family”. Amy was appointed to provide as a Trustee at Beaufort County Group Higher education by previous Gov. Pat McCrory in 2016 and served in that capability until eventually 2020. Amongst the many titles she has held, she would proudly tell you that her favorite was “Granny” to her “B-Man” Brody.
